Question
Why am I receiving a delivery receipt error code 6 after sending SMS?
Applies To
- Delivery Receipts (DLRs)
- Outbound SMS
- Error Code 6
Answer
Carriers often apply anti-spam filters, which block messages following different criteria: Sender ID, message content, etc. When they do this, they may reject your message with the Delivery Receipt error code 6.
For more information on known restrictions that might affect what local carriers regard as spam, see our Country-Specific Features and Restrictions section.
