Symptom
Video calls with screen sharing in Firefox require user interaction (button click) before a screen can be shared.
Applies To
- Firefox
- Screen Sharing
Resolution
Although this behavior is not observed with other browsers, it would be recommended to implement a user-interactive feature (a button) to start and stop the screen share.
Cause
Firefox does not allow the screen to be automatically streamed during the call without any user interaction for security purposes.
